we celebrated our 1 year engagement anniversary in sunny philadelphia yesterday, september 26th.

we took the train into 30th street station & strolled the street for hours.

a celebration wouldn’t be complete without an evening at our fav, european wanna-be, le parc. 

we sipped on carafes of white wine, nibbled on tomato tart, beet salad & steak au poivre.  to top it off we ordered a pair of cafe au lait with baileys, reminiscent of our engagment-moon in france.

boy, did this year fly.  it’s going to be oh, so hard to top.

this week I am especially thankful for……..[1^st edition]

. a fabulous ‘flavour day’ bbq with wonderful family & friends

. outdoor viewing of soul surfer here

. sand tropez nail polish, i’ve been rockin’ all summer

. the anticipation of weekends off

. the discovery of pinterest

. the minimal impact of hurricane irene to our area.  still praying for others.

. for freedom, after completing a stolen life

. warm evening bike rides with my love

3eb is coming to town.
my all-time fave.
september 30.
atlantic city, house of blues.
this will be my first fifth time.
and i’m still counting down the days.

Positively 4th Street has become a staple for those early mornings you just need a pick me up.

Iced coffee & tea. Glorious morning muffin. Fruit, homemade granola and greek yogurt. Take your pick.

Not to mention the staff is superb.
